Workshop on automotive logistics
This free 90-minute workshop will be from 13.00-14.30 on 10 June and take place during the Transport Logistic exhibition in Shanghai.
The workshop will focus on some of the key areas holding back the efficiency of automotive logistics in China.
The sector remains fractured into small players often owned by domestic OEMs and, partly as a result, is perceived as sluggish and inefficient. Few global LSPs have penetrated the Chinese automotive market in a substantial way. The role of the specialist third-party provider (3PL) is set to be critical in the future development of the market.
The workshop is a summary of the key issues of the automotive sector, and the steps needed to improve its performance. Key findings from the Automotive Logistics China 2010 will be presented.
